Izak Post is a partner at Dreyer Hovey & Post, PLLC. Izak enjoyed a distinguished academic career. He graduated from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, where he earned his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude. Originally from a small town in Southern Illinois, Izak moved to Michigan to attend Michigan State University College of Law.
In 2013, Izak received his juris doctorate, summa cum laude, and he was also a member of the prestigious Dean King Scholars Program. Before becoming a member of Dreyer Hovey & Post, PLLC, Izak worked at the Michigan Court of Appeals Research Division and the Legal Services of Eastern Michigan where he acquired experience in a wide range of legal areas.
Izak has been with Dreyer Hovey & Post, PLLC since 2014. He has a wide variety of legal experience including divorce law, family law, criminal law, real estate law, estate planning, and bankruptcy. He has always strived to provide high quality legal representation at a reasonable cost.
While Izak enjoys serving the Clare County community through his professional work, he also is a member of the Harrison Rotary (President 2019-2020), a board member of the Clare County Community Foundation, and the defense attorney for the Clare County Recovery Court team.
